Shortly before this, he was released accidentally onto the PlayStation Store for $6.99 (Which brings the developer’s claims of not releasing it as DLC later into question). In addition, How much does Savini Jason cost? And let's face it, if this wasn't a backer thing and Gun was just charging $6 for a Jason not included in the game people would go nuts.Savini Jason will never, ever, ever, be available for sale again. No one who has decided not to buy this is going to changed course for a 6 dollar add-on. I may have embellished your emphasis a bit. You really think adding a 6 dollar add'on is going to get people to change their minds and drop 40 dollars plus another 6? It's a select few crying like children over the matter. No what I'm saying is that most people don't care. But ultimately it's the devs' decision and I while I'd like access to the content, I still enjoy the game without it. I'm sure everyone else is the same way.Īll things considered releasing it now has more pros than cons. I play games and if they add new content when i haven't played them for months, i almost ALWAYS come back to check out the new improvements. Most of the time his points are valid but he has a way of communicating with people that may come across as "rude".Īnyways, agreed. You'll have to forgive Jack Rabbit, he gets a little "mouthy" sometimes when he tries to make his points. I didn't say it would "bring in waves of new players." (lacks reading comprehension, calls others "delusional") You don't think new content can bring in at least some new players?Īll things considered releasing it now has more pros than cons. (All Xbox players will have it, of course.) I think there is a significant portion of the player base that would love to get Savini Jason, even if it costs extra money. I haven't even seen one in lobby for a month. Are you implying that the majority of the player base have Savini Jason? I doubt that. There is a tiny (but loud) minority thst care about this.Įither way, making his available isn't going to bring in waves of new players and you're delusional if you think so. Originally posted by Jack Rabbit Slim:I think you have that reversed. Playing devils advocate, though, adding Savini would make happy a large chunk of the community that's still here. Majority of the playerbase left due to how poorly the game is being ran/overpriced/lack of content Savini was just the icing ontop. Without being argumentitive, Jack Rabbit is right. But this would be a good business move.Įdit: I just "purchased" it on xbox too. But the upside is it would make the vast majority very happy and bring in new players too. Making Savini available now (circumstances have changed) would anger a tiny fraction of players. Originally posted by Skunk Bucket:They won't take it away, it would cause a huge hatestorm. They only stay quiet for so long and pretty soon they'll be in here trying to berate and scare you. I've never agreed with how Savini Jason was handled.Īnyways, prepare for the gremlins. I have the counselor clothing pack because that's purely cosmetic. People didn't have to back the game, they just had to shell out the $6 before April. The only thing keeping Savini Jason from being better than every other Jason is his weapon strength being bugged. Locking gameplay content behind a pre-release paywall is and will always be crap. I would be happy to pay for it.įor what it's worth I agree with you, and so would any reasonable person who plays video games. People who didn't know about the kickstarter campaign should be given the opportunity one last time to get the DLC. It was briefly available on PS4 and now it's for free on XBOX. They gave hundreds of Savini skins away for free on launch day. Illfonic droned on about not giving it out any more and then it has been available 3 times since then. I don't own the game on XBOX but grabbed the free DLC in case I ever buy it for XBOX. Some people here legitimately flip their lid over others getting that Jason.
